Prayer:
Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Bring Your powerful, healing love–through the Father and the Son–into the darkness in our lives. Do for others what you did for Bob and Beth. Move ever more in our lives.
Draw out un-cried tears, unfinished grieving, pain from loss, traumas, fears, and emotional hurts that were buried alive.
Lord, show us how the love of Jesus was there during hard times, and continues to fill the gap between the love we needed and what we received. Amen.
For the first 5 years, he almost never saw his father. It was caused by the “times” not choice, but a child’s heart was wounded. He also had a difficult mother and school issues…
Beth never felt truly valued or “seen”. Bob was a “good Dad”, but the heart to heart connection she needed was not there.
